Description

Haitian Maskriti oil or Black Castor oil has a special scent due to the grilling and boiling of the seeds taken from wild growing tree.

Haitian Castor Oil, also called ‘lwil maskriti’, 'Maskreti Lakay' or 'Palma Christi' (Latin for the palm of Christ), as it’s called in Haiti, is well known and highly regarded for aiding and stimulating hair growth, rejuvenating and nourishing scalp, and skin.

Straight from Haiti, the Castor Oil has been used for centuries and it has been said that it has the highest amount of ricinoleic acid than any other oil (e.g. Jamaican Black Castor Oil), which is the key to its ability to heal and carry moisture to hair, skin, and body.

The Castor beans are roasted to preserve the benefits of the oil. It is golden in colour, thick, and potent and you can tell from the roasted ash smell. The oil is thick in consistency so a little will go a long way, packaged in an amber glass dropper bottle.

How to use:

As with any natural products, we always recommend a patch test 48 hours before use. If irritation occurs, please discontinue use.

Massage and Hot Oil Treatment
Warm up the oil using the double boiling method. Massage onto your scalp or beard 3-4 times a week, paying particular attention to thinning/ balding areas to stimulate the hair follicles and promote growth.

Overnight mask: (8 hours) - Apply the oil throughout your scalp & strands and leave overnight before rinsing out with warm water

Hair routine: Use the oil to seal in moisture as part of your LCO or LOC method; can be used to grease dry scalp

Great products

The castor oil is legit. It's been a while since I've had a castor oil that smells authentic. The dous makòs is also authentic but the potato flour (farin pòm de tè), is not the one I used to have. It's felt like a mix of white flour and potato flour.

Thank you very much

I havent tried the castor oil. It’s smaller than I thought. Maybe I wasn’t thinking of the size mentioned in the description. All the products came intact. I would like to have more tri-tri and DJ on-djon in the bag please
